LET YOURSELF ENJOY THE THROW.
Somewhere between learning the next trick and comparing yourself with someone else, it is easy to forget why you picked up a yoyo in the first place.
CHEROPHOBIA draws on the idea of holding back from happiness. For PHOBIA, the answer is an invitation to play without needing every session to prove something.
This concept explores a more playful side of performance: a balance between control and freedom, between a familiar combination and an unexpected direction. The design ambition is to make room for experimentation—considering how the profile meets the hand, how the yoyo changes direction, and how its momentum supports a player's rhythm.
A trick does not have to belong in a competition routine to be worth doing. Sometimes, the best part is the strange transition you discover by accident, or a simple movement that feels good enough to repeat.
Keep the challenge. Leave room for enjoyment.
CHEROPHOBIA — You do not have to earn the joy of playing.
XXX YOUR PHOBIA.
